The Port Center is a neutral educational space open to the general public that allows visitors to discover, experience, and better understand contemporary port operations. AIVP supports stakeholders in port cities in establishing their Port Center, including the opportunity to join a working group and obtain certification that lends credibility to your initiative.

Each Port Center is born out of a unique context. AIVP offers three levels of customized support to help you bring your project to fruition, from the preliminary analysis through to the business model.

Held annually since 2014, the Port Center working group brings together professionals in charge of Port Centers (typically affiliated with port authorities), as well as representatives from cities, metropolitan areas, and cultural organizations, to discuss best practices in citizen engagement and the social integration of ports.
