DESCHIETER specializes in port logistics and multimodal transport. Located in Ghlin, on the Belgian–French border, the company operates a strategic site covering 100,000 m², including 1,500 meters of inland waterway quays, two 300-meter railway tracks, and 12,000 m² of buildings.
The site is equipped with a wide range of handling equipment, including mobile cranes, reach stackers, loaders, and a 28-ton forklift.
DESCHIETER is a subsidiary of TMF Operating, a group managing seven multimodal platforms in France and Belgium, with consolidated revenues of €110 million and a workforce of 280 employees.
Its purpose is to secure, optimize, and decarbonize industrial supply chains in order to ensure their long-term territorial anchorage.
Each year, DESCHIETER transports 2 million tonnes via inland waterways and handles 1,000 vessels and 5,000 rail wagons across its sites.
