Since 1988, AIVP has brought together stakeholders from port cities around the world around a common goal: to build a sustainable relationship between cities, ports, and their citizens. To this end, numerous initiatives have been launched, aligned with AIVP’s values: the creation of the 2030 Agenda, a guiding framework for all port stakeholders; the creation of the Port Center concept; the launch of the AIVP Antoine Rufenacht Award; and the establishment of AIVP’s presence in North America.
