We must ensure consistency between the values we promote to our members and the way we operate as an institution. That is why, for several years now, AIVP has developed a concrete, measurable, and constantly evolving CSR policy.
Each of our in-person events (conferences, seminars, meetings, workshops, etc.) generates carbon emissions. Rather than ignoring them, we measure them and offset them by funding agricultural projects in Seine-Maritime that have a significant environmental impact.
To this end, we are partnering with Carbolocal, a regional carbon reporting platform launched within the Le Havre Seine Métropole urban community .
Launched in 2021, this innovative initiative supports farmers and municipalities in their projects to plant hedgerows and orchards by leveraging the carbon offsets from committed companies and organizations.
This partnership allows us to anchor our efforts in a specific region, fund projects with a direct and verifiable impact, and engage our employees in a participatory and people-centered approach.
