The Port of Seville is the only inland seaport in Spain. It lies in the metropolitan area of one of the country’s principal cities, in the cargo-generating south of the peninsular. It is a strategic port for the EU, completely multimodal, with sea, rail and road transport connections. There is a large area available for logistical and industrial development. The port has 5 terminals and 3 public wharves, more than 4,000 metres of berths and 1 million m2 of warehouse space. The Port of Seville contains the first ZAL (logistics activity zone) in Andalusia, a well-developed industrial area and a Free Zone. There is also a cruise ship terminal very close to the city centre.
