However, this committee is open to every kind of question or concern the public might have over their regional port. It aims to facilitate information sharing and feedback collection from the public affected by port operations and projects. The PCLC has an independent leadership, with Sara Colburne, the Managing Director of Engage Nova Scotia, serving as its Chair. The initiative seeks to enhance collaboration between traditional port partners and the wider community, particularly those not traditionally associated with the port. Cpt. Allan Gray, the previous President and CEO of the Halifax Port Authority, emphasised the importance of this collaboration to achieve positive growth and stronger relationships. The committee consists of around 15 individuals chosen for their diverse experience and perspectives. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Outside of this committee, a <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oneportcityhfx.ca\/port-city-halifax-questions-port-community-liaison-committee\/\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">communications strategy<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> has been established in tandem to inform through social media and the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oneportcityhfx.ca\/community-and-collaboration\/\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">port of Halifax community website<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> the citizens about announcements of projects, activities and cultural events that take place in the port.
