The initiative was carried out in cooperation with Union Maritime, which gathered 38 port companies. The main goal is to give disclosure to port employment opportunities and facilitate the process for future applicants, promote all businesses in the port area, and organise a common process for recruiters, employment, and education stakeholders. The website is only one of the elements of the program &ldquo;Cap sur l&rsquo;&eacute;conomie portuaire&rdquo; (Focus on the port economy), developed by the port and Union Maritime to increase the visibility of port-related professions. For instance, the organisation promoted the 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.francetravail.fr\/actualites\/la-semaine-de-lemploi-maritime.html?fbclid=IwAR3zIuIq0cg6Ez3ZbGmquhVg0Ey52OCOiFbueK_ynwZky_PKufC-tTN_aPM\">Maritime and River Trades Week<\/a>, a career fair where people can discover professions and meet recruiting companies and training centres with more than 900 open positions. The program fosters local synergy by providing tailored responses to businesses, job seekers, students, and education stakeholders. It facilitates the matching of business needs with the area&#8217;s human resources, including the orientation, employment, and education of young individuals.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The website also highlights the advantages of working in La Rochelle and its industrial zone in La Pallice. It valorises the historic importance of the old ports, while also highlighting the opportunities that are arising through innovations. La Pallice district, which has a strong industrial heritage, is now transforming into a developing economic hub and is attracting many growing businesses. However, workers can also enjoy culture through the concert hall converted from a former grain bar, &ldquo;La Sir&egrave;ne&rdquo; (The Siren).
