This venue offers a unique cultural experience by combining the natural surroundings with intricate design. The amphitheatre&#8217;s modern and functional features, combined with its natural integration into the landscape, make it an exceptional space for hosting various performances and events. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/paullaurendeau.squarespace.com\/projects-1\/2018\/12\/20\/cogeco-amphitheater\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Atelier Paul Laurendeau&#8217;s<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> creation stands as a testament to innovative design that harmoniously blends with its environment, providing both a visually captivating structure and an inviting atmosphere for audiences to enjoy. Cirque du Soleil performed an exclusive show to mark the building&rsquo;s completion in 2015 and had a 10-year agreement to appear at the Cogeco each summer until 2024. The landscaping and signage were finalised in October 2016. Since then, it has become an iconic urban landmark with its vast 7200 m2 red roof seemingly floating above the 3,500-seat arena. There are a further 5200 seats on the adjacent lawns.
