Who are we?

The Association Internationale Villes et Ports (AIVP) was founded in 1988. Its head office is in Le Havre (Normandy). It brings together public and private legal entities involved in the development of port cities, divided into three categories: port authorities, local authorities, and private or public companies. It supports its members in implementing new strategies to enable them to better cope with the changes impacting the economic, social and environmental development of port cities.

AIVP has 180 members in some 100 port cities in over 40 countries.

The Association’s activities revolve around three pillars:

  • network management
  • international project management,
  • organization of international events.

AIVP’s 14-strong team works daily in three official languages: French, English and Spanish.

Who are you?

  • You have a university degree (IAE, Management School, Licence 3, Master 1) in Communications.
  • You are available for five months from March 2024.
  • You are passionate about communication and events
  • You are curious and creative
  • You are said to be a real team player with good interpersonal skills
  • You are rigorous, responsive and able to prioritize your actions
  • You have a basic knowledge of WordPress, Canva and Brevo (emailing platform)
  • You are fluent in English and/or Spanish?

What can we achieve together?

You will join the AIVP Communications department and assist the team in their main cross-functional missions:

  • You will contribute to the launch of our new service “Agenda 2030 by AIVP self-diagnosis tool” and to the launch of the AIVP Antoine Rufenacht prize.
  • You will participate in the design of communication media: writing emails, creating posters, visuals for social networks, videos, infographics or other… 
  • You’ll learn to use WordPress to add articles to the AIVP newsletter, and you’ll generate the newsletter on BREVO.
  • You will be responsible for communicating the Port Center by AIVP concept.
  • You will take part in analyses of AIVP’s performance on the web.

Through your actions, you will support the objectives of strengthening the Association’s international reputation and promoting its events.
