With an academic background in political science, urban studies, and international cooperation, Noémi began her career by specialising in urban mobility issues. During periods of professional experience abroad (in the Netherlands and Argentina), she developed her expertise in consultancy and academic research in the field. She then spent two years with CODATU, an NGO specialised in promoting sustainable urban mobility in cities situated in the global south. While working there, she gained expertise in the area of electric mobility and gender issues in mobility. She now joins AIVP’s content department, where she will be working on;
- The European Connected River project, which aims to improve commercial, environmental, and recreational uses of waterways in Northern Europe
- The interface between the port and urban mobilities
- Issues specific to river port cities
