In 2024, our course program on sustainable port cities continue, and registration is now open for 2024-2025!
In October 2023, we simultaneously launched two course programs on sustainable port cities, available in French and Spanish. These programs run from October to May/June, and take place on Zoom twice a week. They bring together around twenty participants, from backgrounds as varied as mainland France, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Reunion Island, Madagascar, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Colombia and Peru.
The program offer in-depth knowledge on subjects as diverse as governance, the circular economy and energy transition, underwater ecosystems in port areas, heritage and city-port identity, and the impact of criminal activity on the quality of life of port city residents. Speakers include experts, academics and international civil servants from various countries and continents.
The course are designed to support you in the exercise of your professional practice, but also to create links, thus fostering fruitful collaboration on a local and global scale, as highlighted by many participants in the satisfaction surveys we have carried out.
A new edition will take place in October 2024; registration is now open!
The course programs are a partnership between AIVP and IIPC and are directed by Dr. Sabah Zrari.
