The stakeholders in the European Connected River consortium held their fourth in-person meeting in Stockholm (Sweden) from 16 to 18 April, at the offices of our Swedish partner Ecoloop. The event was a chance to learn more about the Royal Seaport urban development with keynote speeches by representatives from the port and city of Stockholm, and to meet potential “replicators” looking to adopt similar projects in other Swedish cities. The short cycle “flow forward” innovation approaches developed by the consortium’s members were also presented. AIVP’s role in the project is to facilitate discussions between the various partners, and to bring its own expertise and international network to the table in support of the different pilot projects. The next in-person meeting will take place in Antwerp in September, during the consortium’s mid-term event.
