Port of Oslo opened in 2015 the stage II of Sjursøya container terminal operated by Yilport Oslo. 2 new and 1 older STS-cranes and 8 new RTG-cranes are handling the containers. At the moment the terminal will be able to handle 350.000 TEUs, and fully developed 450.000 TEUs. Length of the terminal quay is now 605 m. Port of Oslo is being restructured as a lot of the area and quays are being subjected to extensive urban development. Apart from cruise and ferry lines, most of the port activities is now to be concentrated and being developed in the South part of the Port (Sydhavna). The port of Oslo is the largest container port in Norway with modern and efficient terminals for lo-lo traffic. We are also the leading Ro/Ro port in Norway. The port of Oslo has good connections to Europe.
