With an annual traffic of 32,5 million tonnes, Nantes Saint-Nazaire is the leading port of the French Atlantic coast. Its activity generates 24,400 jobs. Port sites are located on the estuary of the Loire between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. They welcome each year more than 2,850 merchant shipping calls, around 70 pushed river barge convoys and 1,400 cargo trains. About 300 types of traffic (bulk, containers, industrial packages, ro-ro ...) transit through the Loire Estuary port terminals. The port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire is connected to almost 500 ports, throughout the world. For importers and exporters in the Grand Ouest (Greater West), it offers value-added logistics services that allow optimization of supply chains and distribution.
