The AIVP Board of Directors, chaired by Edouard Philippe, met virtually on Monday 31 March. Among the topics on the agenda: the opening in early 2026 of the AIVP North America Permanent Representation in Canada.

On this occasion, Olga Farman, CEO of the Port of Québec, reaffirmed his support for this initiative, as well as that of the Quebec provincial government and the City of Québec.
👉 A key milestone: the legal statutes of the representation will be filed in April, and the Board of Directors has entrusted Philippe Matthis, AIVP Ambassador, with the task of carrying out this process.

🌎 Strategic development:
The opening of this office marks a decisive step forward for AIVP. It is the result of a long-standing relationship of trust built over many years with our Canadian members. This new presence will strengthen our footprint in North America and enable us to support our members even more effectively.
