Visit from the Canal Department of Paris

On March 1, Arc’hantael Dorothé and Marie-Pierre Padovani from the Paris City Hall Canal Department paid us a visit at our offices in Le Havre.

Bruno Delsalle, General Manager, and Noémi Mené, River Port Cities Project Leader, presented the challenges and objectives of AIVP. Following this, Jean-Denis Salesse, HAROPA PORT’s Head of Port City Development Planning, led a tour of Port 2000, revealing the evolution of port areas and Le Havre’s port-city interface. During the visit, our members were introduced to both the container terminals and the protected natural areas within the port’s perimeter.

Fruitful exchanges on Parisian issues paved the way for a promising collaboration for the River Port Cities working group to be launched this year.
